The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [NEET (UG) – 2023] on Sunday, 7th May 2023 in Pen and Paper mode. NEET (UG) is a common and standardized test conducted in 13 different languages for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. Additionally, NEET (UG) is also applicable for admission to undergraduate courses such as BAMS, BUMS, BSMS courses in the Indian System of Medicine as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020. BHMS course admission is also covered under the National Commission for Homeopathy Act, 2020. NEET (UG) will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. MNS aspirants seeking admission to BSc Nursing Course at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals must qualify NEET, and the NEET score will be used to shortlist for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing course.

NEET UG 2023 Registration Fee Details

The fee structure for fill the registration form are as follows: General category candidates will have to pay RS. 1700, while the rest of the candidates will pay Rs.1600. Additionally, candidates will have to pay the applicable processing fees and GST.

NEET 2023 – What to keep beforehand

It might be possible for the mistakes done while filling out the NEET 2023 examination form. So, students are requested to keep all the documents beforehand and fill out the form for ease.

The list of things you need to have before filling out the application for NEET 2023

  1. Valid Mobile Number
  2. Valid Email Address
  3. Class 10 details and Class 12 details (Mark sheet, certificate, roll number, school address, and other details)
  4. Correct spelling of father’s and mother’s name
  5. Aadhaar number
  6. Class 12 Roll number issued by the Board.
  7. Aadhar Card, Election Card (EPIC No.), passport number, ration card number, bank account, or any other valid Govt. identity number
  8. Scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, Class 10 pass certificate, and a photograph
  9. Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, or UPI payment gateway details.
NEET 2023 – Qualification Eligibility
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical The eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 are as follows:
  1. Age limit: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2023. The upper age limit for NEET 2023 has not been announced yet by NTA
  2. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as mandatory subjects.
  3. Minimum marks: The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category), 45% marks (for the general PWD category), and 40% marks (for the SC/ST/OBC category) in the qualifying examination.
  4. Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). NRI candidates are also eligible for NEET.
  5. State eligibility: Candidates who wish to apply for admission to the state medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir are required to submit a self-declaration form to claim their eligibility.

NEET 2023 – Complete Process

The registration process for NEET 2023 is expected to be similar to the previous years. Here are the general steps for NEET 2023 registration process:

  1. Visit the official website: The first step is to visit the official website of NEET 2023. https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  2. Fill in the application form: Click on the “NEET 2023 Application Form” link and fill in the required details, such as personal details, academic qualifications, address, etc.
  3. Upload scanned documents: You will also need to upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the specified format and size.
  4. Pay the application fee: The next step is to pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
  5. Submit the application form: Once you have filled in all the details and paid the application fee, click on the “Submit” button to complete the registration process.
  6. Download and print the confirmation page: After the successful submission of the application form, you will be able to download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
